To be eligible for the award of the Master of Physiotherapy (MPhty), a student must acquire 170 credit points as prescribed below:

  • gain 170 credit points for core courses;
  • complete successfully a minimum of 1000 hours of supervised clinical education (within the 170 credit points core courses);
  • the maximum time for the completion of the Masters is six years.

This degree may be awarded with Distinction where a student achieves a minimum program GPA of 6.5 with no failed courses. The words 'This award was achieved with Distinction' will be recorded on the testamur.
