To be eligible for the award of Graduate Diploma of Research Studies in Engineering (GDipResSt), a student must acquire 80 credit points as prescribed below:
To be eligible to exit the Graduate Diploma of Research Studies in Engineering program with the Graduate Certificate in Research Studies in Engineering award, a student must acquire 40 credit points of specified courses.
To exit, a student should apply for a program transfer.

Note 1: 7001ENG is offered in Trimester 1 at Gold Coast, Trimester 2 at Nathan and online offerings are available in both Trimester 1 and 2.
Note 2: 7002ENG is offered in Trimester 1 in-person at Gold Coast/Nathan and online in Trimester 2.
Note 3: 6000-coded Engineering electives are approved by HDR Convenor in consultation with HDR Supervisor.
Exit point: Graduate Certificate in Research Studies in Engineering (3315). To exit (after completing at least 40 credit points of specified courses), a student should apply for a program transfer.
