The Bachelor of Business Innovation is based around entrepreneurship, innovation and community. You'll study the foundations of business as core subjects and learn what they mean for business through a series of applied industry integrated activities contextually relevant to the region around Logan. The degree is designed to ensure you graduate with a strong network both in your class cohort and with extended ties to the community and industry organisations.
This degree takes into account specific factors influencing the Logan region including rapid population growth, demographic makeup and student and workforce needs. You will be working directly with organisations and businesses in the region to ensure relevant problem-based authentic learning.
At Logan, you will complete this degree in two years by studying on a three-trimester per year basis (four courses per trimester). The timetable includes various modes of learning including intensive weekend classes, night classes and other flexible delivery methods designed around students who have a busy lifestyle.
To be classed as a full-time student, you are required to enrol in a minimum number of credit points each standard study period. The minimum credit points for full-time enrolment in this program is 30 credit points.
Trimester 1 and Trimester 2 are deemed standard study periods. As Trimester 3 is a non-standard study period, continuing students moving from one year to the next will not be required to study during this trimester to be eligible for student income support.
Domestic students who commence in Trimester 3 may be eligible for student income support from the onset of study provided they are enrolled full-time in this study period.

This degree program includes 80 credit points of compulsory work-integrated learning courses. This requires students to complete a series of applied industry integrated activities contextually relevant to the region around Logan.
You'll graduate with strong business networks and the authentic business knowledge to apply problem solving skills to a broad range of business environments from planning and strategy, small businesses and starting a new business.

Eligible undergraduate fee-paying students may defer their tuition fees by taking out a FEE-HELP loan which is part of the Higher Education Loan Program (HELP). Payment of the loan is via the taxation system when income reaches a specified level.
