Senior Phase Visual Art Curriculum (7608EDN)

This course is the second of two complementary courses concerned with curriculum and pedagogy specific to the visual arts. In this course students build on the knowledge and skills gained in the first semester, advancing their understanding of the inter-relationships of curriculum, pedagogy and assessment for post-compulsory and senior school contexts. Students critically evaluate and implement the policies, procedures and practices relative to their professional contexts. Course assessment focuses on the design of two-year developmental programs for learning in the visual arts and the recognition and verification of standards of achievement for the purposes of certification.
