Cost Benefit Analysis and Applications (7319AFE)

This course aims to develop an advanced level of understanding of cost-benefit analysis and related techniques of economic analysis which are widely used in the evaluation of major expenditure proposals. The techniques are illustrated by means of case studies drawn from Australian and international policy formulation, and hands-on experience is provided with spreadsheet techniques used to facilitate real-world application of the methods taught. Pre-requisite: 7303AFE Economics or equivalent
