Advanced Research in Creative Writing (7115LHS)

This course explores the dynamic relationship between scholarly inquiry and creative writing practice. As postgraduate students interested in gaining an advanced qualification in writing, the course will foster your understanding of what it means to pursue creative writing in an academic context. You'll deepen your understanding of key methods and approaches used in creative inquiry; receive guidance in developing creative writing within a research framework; be encouraged to explore the relationship between writing and wider social and cultural concerns, and explore writing industry practices.
