Evaluating Policy and Measuring Performance (7024GIR)

This course, the capstone unit of the Graduate Certificate in Policy Analysis, addresses the contested terrain of policy delivery. We examine different perspectives on performance and policy success and consider how individuals' perceptions and experiences of government services and programs affect democratic values. The Online mode is open to general enrolment and is offered for the duration of the trimester. The SB Intensive mode is a restricted and is only available to students who are sponsored into the Graduate Certificate in Policy Analysis program (3210). Students in this program must complete this course (7024GIR) in their final Trimester of study. Non 3210 Program Students who wish to enrol will require prior permission from the Head of School. Prerequisites: 7023GIR Political, Legal and Governance Environment. Co-requisites: NIL Incompatible: 7024GIR AND 7208GIR (Delivering Policy, Performance, Participation, Prospects); 7024PPP AND 7208PPP (Delivering Policy, Performance, Participation, Prospects)
