Digital Human Resource Management (7023EHR)

Evidence based management has long been recognised as a potential source of added value to organisations. This multi-disciplinary course encompasses developments in HR, IT and information systems (IS) in harnessing the potential of technology in the efficient and effective delivery of HR services. Using the System Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies, it explores the key success factors in technology design, implementation and improvement. Apart from covering the latest theories and digital and cloud based technology trends, it provides hands-on exposure to specific HR technology applications, including applicant tracking system and learning management system and at the same time identifies the limitations and unintended consequences.
