Research Design and Methods (7001GBS)

The main focus of this course is on the planning and implementation of social research . Many of the topics considered will entail a critical analysis of research material. The course will include an appreciation of qualitative and quantitative methods appropriate for research conducted in a range of organisational environments. Primary and Secondary methods of data analysis will be considered, as will the validity of interpretations of research findings. The course is structured to provide a broad understanding of research and research methodologies. Incompatible: 6014MGT/6014MKT Honours Research Methods, 7001GBS Research Methods & Design. This course is normally offered at Nathan -Day in Sem 1 and Night in Sem 2. At the Gold Coast the course is offered in the Day.
