Advanced Computer Systems (6305ENG)

This course is divided into two independent modules. The first module provides students with an understanding of the complex design issues encountered in the development of computer systems. While this module is mostly hardware oriented, the implications on operating system and compiler design are also covered. The second module is a special topic, chosen from software oriented areas of computer system design, for example parallel programming. Incompatible: 7507ENG Advanced Computer Systems. Course offered in even years only at Nathan campus.
