The supply of good quality water, together with the removal of subsequent wastewater, is essential for modern communities and for maintaining water quality in the environment. This course deals with specialised and advanced aspects, theory, methods, processes, design principles and associated trends in treating raw water and the subsequent wastewater to the required quality. The main focus is on municipal use of water and municipal wastewater production. This course concentrates on providing a solid understanding of the more advanced aspects of the treatment processes.
