Advanced Synthetic Chemistry (6103NSC)

This course covers the fundamental principles of modern synthetic inorganic and organic chemistry. Emphasis is on problem solving, specifically the construction of quite complex organic molecules from easily available starting materials using contemporary synthetic methods. Topics also include major areas of research in modern inorganic chemistry and organometallic/materials chemistry.
