Introduction to Research Methods (6013QCA)

The study is the beginning of a scholarly career in creative research. At this level, excellence in practice is predicated on a reflective and rigorous approach to creative practice as a method of inquiry and comment. This course looks at different modes of inquiry and encourages the students to develop research practices that are appropriate to their particular area of study. This course provides an opportunity for students to explore the basic principles of research methods and consider how these may be applied to their research project.
