Succession (5163LAW)

This course considers the law of succession which concerns the devolution of rights and obligations upon death. In particular it deals with the transmission of property interests through testamentary processes (wills) and when there is intestacy. Prerequisites: 7731LAW Foundations of Law OR 1031LAW Foundations of Law OR 1011LAW Law and the Modern State; 7729LAW Contracts 1 OR 1029LAW Contracts 1 OR 1014LAW Contracts and Civil Obligations 1.
