Domestic and Family Violence (5126LAW)

This law elective course examines and critically evaluates contemporary law and legal responses pertaining to domestic and family violence. All elements are examined and evaluated through feminist, critical and criminal legal theoretical lenses. Prerequisites: 7719LAW Crime 1 OR 2019LAW Crime 1 OR 4032LAW The Principles of Criminal Law; 7720LAW Crime 2 OR 2020LAW Crime 2 OR 4031LAW Criminal Procedure and Sentencing.
