Documentary Infield (3888QCA)

This course blends the theory and practice that underpins contemporary documentary practice. Students will be required to work collaboratively as in-field researchers and to interrogate and document the social fabric of an international destination. This course is offered in intensive mode only, requiring the student to move and live in the chosen area for a period of no less than 10 days, capped at 20 days unless otherwise approved by the Convenor. Students will negotiate access to stories with a social justice angle and report daily to supervisors on their findings and progress.
