Mobile Application Development (3701ICT)

Mobile technologies are fast becoming ubiquitous and are being used to meet a diversity of purposes from business and industry, to education, entertainment and medical applications. In this course, students work with popular mobile application development environments and methods to create mobile applications. In so doing, students build the knowledge and skills necessary to develop native mobile applications that exploit the device capabilities including camera, compass, gestures, and sensors such as accelerometer to create effective and highly interactive mobile applications. Pre-requisite: 2807ICT Programming Principles or 2701ICT Interactive Application Development Incompatible: 2501ICT Programming Mobile Applications
