Interactive Installations (3643QCA)

Interactive Installations is an advanced undergraduate course in designing and producing interactive media installations in the context of an institutional setting, with the input of external organisations. The course will focus on exhibition design as a case study for addressing the needs of audiences, institutions, and designers/artists in creating powerful and compelling interactive physical experiences using a hybrid of digital and physical tools. The technologies used will vary with the needs of the project, but will include media production tools such as TouchDesigner. The course is collaborative, and will result in team-developed projects.
