Politics of Law and Justice in China (3380LHS)

This course examines the political nature of law and justice in the world's most populous state. The course will examine political discourse in China and how it relates to law and order. Issues that will be explored include how citizens interact with the state and the Communist Party in China in court, in governmental offices, on the internet and on the streets in protest.
