Event Experience Hong Kong (3340THS)

This course employs an experiential learning approach to provide undergraduate students with professional and personal development opportunities through field trips to Hong Kong to visit business events staged in leading Hong Kong venues. It allows students to learn in context the development of the business event sector, discuss issues concerning the industry, and analyse the impacts of technology and marketing on the sector, so as to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of business events planning and management. This course has restricted entry with convenor approval required. Incompatible with 3213THS Conference & Convention Management. This course is offered: Gold Coast, Trimester 3.
