Economic Policy Analysis (3312AFE)

This course provides knowledge and skills required for examining contemporary macro and micro economic policy issues. It is designed to be a 'capstone' course for students majoring in Economics of Bachelor of.Commerce degree program. The course consolidates previously acquired knowledge by applying what students already know to explore 'real world' problems in a way that simulates professional practice and enables students to make connections between subjects they have studied. The course also aims to improve students' written and oral presentation skills, which are essential to becoming a successful professional economist. A final aim of the course is to assist students to become independent learners and active participants in the learning process. Prerequisites: 2304AFE Intermediate Macroeconomics and 2305AFE Intermediate Microeconomics Co-requisites: NIL Incompatible: NIL
