Student Managed Investment Fund (3217AFE)

Student Managed Investment Fund is a course that challenges high-achieving students to apply their training and knowledge in investment simulations and work-related projects. The course is designed to equip students with the professional skills necessary to be work-ready by engaging them in real-world financial analysis and simulations. Students are supported throughout this University-based internship by Academics and Industry Practitioners, who will come to campus to share real world insights into the challenges of portfolio/investment management and advice. These individuals will provide mentoring to students throughout the course. NOTE: This course is restricted to students completing the Finance and Financial Planning majors. Students must have completed a minimum 160cp and, due to physical constraints of the Trading Room environment, enrolment numbers are limited.
