Project (3101ENV)

Project work is undertaken by students in the second half of their program and normally consists of one major task in an established area of practice. Each project has identifiable problem-solving aspects whether technical, field or laboratory base, managerial or computational and is undertaken under supervisory arrangements approved by the Course Convenor. Students may work individually or in teams but must keep individual logbooks clearly identifying their role in the work undertaken. Assessment is by evaluation of a written project Proposal and final project report. NOTE: This course is offered in Trimesters 1 & 2. Pre-requisites: (Science) 2204ENV Applied Statistics AND at least 140 credit points in an ENV degree, comprising 80cp at first year level and at least 60 cp at second year level AND GPA>=5 (Planning) At least 140cp in the Bachelor of Urban and Environmental Planning (1279) Incompatible: 3102EAS Research Topic; 3102ENV Research Topic; 3101EAS Project
