Japanese 3A (3040LHS)

This is the first intermediate course for students who have successfully completed Japanese 2B (2042LHS or 2045LHS) or have reached an equivalent level of proficiency (e.g. N4 in the Japanese Language Proficiency Test). It leads students to a level of proficiency necessary to engage effectively and confidently in everyday situations, with an increased use of authentic materials and digital tools in the course. PREREQUISITE: 2042LHS Japanese 2B or 2045LHS Japanese 2B Enhanced or 2033LAL Introductory Japanese 4 or Japanese Language Proficiency N4 and equivalent. NOTE: This course cannot be taken simultaneously with 1032LHS or 2040LHS or 2043LHS.
