Molecular Diagnostics (3020MSC)

This course examines basic principles of human genetic disease processes from molecular  and diagnostic perspectives. The course is strongly orientated toward developing and learning useful laboratory skills for diagnosis of genetic disease including DNA analysis, clinical genetics, cytogenetics and forensics. Pre-requisite:  1005MSC Genes and Disease,  2000MSC Molecular Genetics AND either 2008MSC Structural Biochemistry  AND 2011MSC Metabolism OR 2005MSC Biochemistry
