Industry Affiliates Program (3001ENG)

This course emphasises the academic and professional aspects of modern engineering, science and technology applications and practice within an industrial environment. It incorporates a major capstone project, which is designed to demonstrate areas of engineering, science and technology from research, through to specification and/or prototype of a product of value to the industry partner. Students undertake the course with an industry partner who will provide supervision of the project within the industrial environment. An academic advisor within the university will provide academic leadership to the student in the successful completion of the industry based project. Assessment is on the basis of project deliverables and an individual report. The project deliverables will be assessed on student's individual contributions. To be eligible to enrol in the IAP, students must completed the online registration form at http://www.griffith.edu.au/industry-affiliates-program/students/participate-in-the-iap with the IAP office during the trimester prior to the trimester they wish to enrol.
