News Photography 2 (2829QCA)

News Photography 2 builds on the skills developed in News Photography 1. In this course students will consolidate the camera and language skills they acquired in semester 1, while concentrating on lighting and exposure controls to develop practical expertise commensurate with the needs of working professional photographers. Each assignment is designed to incorporate a set of craft skills covering the digital photographic domain, as well as requiring students to utilise their developing expertise in design to produce images with high visual impact. Students having completed both News Photography 1 and 2 will have the prerequisite skills for specialised studies in the major area of ePhotojournalism.
