Portrait Photography (2811QCA)

This practice-based study is designed to introduce students to a variety of perspectives and expertise relevant to contemporary portrait photography. Practical assignments intended to challenge and inform the student will develop specialised skills in lighting, posing, print finishing and advanced equipment application. Where possible assignments will incorporate Work Integrated Learning components involving community based organisations. An understanding of business organisation, marketing and client relationships supports these practical skills. Assessment is based on practical assignments.
