Sculpture Studio 2 (2395QCA)

Sculpture 2 introduces students to the value of materiality within the broad field of Contemporary Sculpture. Through learning activities and self-directed studio projects, students will gain insight to the diversity of materials that are being employed within contemporary spatial and sculptural discourse. Students will develop skills transforming and manipulating materials prior to developing a major spatial outcome. The course requires students to engage with themes relevant to their personal, social and/or cultural interests and develop outcomes that employ conceptually appropriate processes and material interventions.
