Environmental and Energy Economics (2313AFE)

This course introduces students to the core analytical tools and frameworks of analysis employed within the fields of Environmental and Energy Economics. In the Environmental Economics component of the course, these tools and frameworks are then applied to the evaluation of a range of policy options that may be used to address environmental issues. The Energy Economics component will examine current issues in renewable energy, electricity markets, energy policy formulation and fossil fuels.
