Intermediate Macroeconomics (2304AFE)

This course covers core intermediate macroeconomic theory, including the key roles played by fiscal and monetary policies. The macroeconomic concepts and techniques taught in this course deepen understanding of the main factors that influence GDP, interest rates, inflation, employment, unemployment, the exchange rate, the trade account and long run economic growth. Macroeconomic variables are regularly reported in the media because they determine business conditions and are therefore central to business and financial decision-making.
