Ecotox and Impact Assessment (2212ENV)

Ecotox and Impact Assessment provides a sound understanding of the process of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), with a focus on ecotoxicology and ecological risk assessment. Topics covered include dose-response assessment, exposure assessment, fate and effect of toxic chemicals on the environment, risk assessment and management, environmental planning and law, development approval, and the EIA process. The purpose of the course is to develop skills in ecotoxicology and apply them in the EIA context.
