Inorganic Chemistry (2101NSC)

The course deals with fundamental aspects of the role of inorganic chemistry and, in particular, metal ions and compounds in medicinal chemistry and includes an overview of the basic principles of inorganic chemistry and medicinal chemistry. The emphasis is on the role of transition metals in biological systems and the application of physical techniques to probe the structure and function of the metal environment.
