Italian 2B Spoken (2091LHS)

The course aims to further extend students' proficiency in listening and speaking in Italian, understanding of Italian grammar, and familiarity with Italian culture and society. As well as class work drawing on texts from a variety of media, the course provides students with the opportunity to use their Italian in various out-of-class situations (for example in conversations with native speakers in the local community or by participating in the Italian Griffith University and Dante Society choir Unicoro). Assessment is through an oral presentation in class, an oral exam and regular tasks concerned with preparing for, and reporting back from, the out-of-class interactions. PREREQUISITE: 2090LHS Italian 2A OR equivalent.
