Courts, Sentencing and Justice (2016CCJ)

The course focuses on the role of criminal courts play in punishing offenders. In particular, this course examines sentencing processes and outcomes; sentencing reforms and innovation, such as restorative justice and therapeutic justice; and current issues in sentencing research and practice.
