Molecular Biology (2012NSC)

This course deals with advanced methods in DNA cloning, analysis of mRNA expression and analysis of the control of gene expression. It also considers the molecular basis of the control of gene expression and animal development, and advanced genetic systems. Incompatible: 3011BBS Molecular Biology Prerequisite: 1006BPS Functional Molecular Genetics OR 1042SCG Genetics and Evolutionary Biology OR 2004BPS Molecular Genetics Students will not be permitted to enrol without a Pass grade in the prerequisite course.
