Chinese Government and Politics (2008GIR)

This course examines the Chinese political, economic and social structures and institutions to provide the students with an in-depth understanding of Chinese domestic and foreign policies. It engages the theoretical and empirical debates about China's rise in international relations. Prerequisite: NIL Co-requisite: NIL Incompatible: 3009IBA Politics in Contemporary China; PAC31 Politics in Contemporary China.
