Microbiology (2007MSC)

Microbiology focuses on theoretical and applied knowledge of HEALTH and MEDICAL MICROBIOLOGY including types of microorganisms, growth and culture, control of microbial growth and antibiotics, microbial taxonomy, microorganisms involved in disease, aspects of clinical microbiology and techniques for isolating and identifying microorganisms. Pre-requisite: 1014MSC Tissues, Cells and Regulation or 1601ENV Biological Systems or 1005BPS Cell Biology and Biological Systems or equivalent. Incompatible with: 2003MSC Fundamentals of Microbiology.
