Digital Musicianship 1 (1716QCM)

This course will cover theoretic knowledge and the analytical and aural skills that underpin music technology studies. Course content will include introductions to acoustics and psychoacoustics, music and sound analysis, audio culture and aural awareness. Students will engage with multiple music representation systems and demonstrate aural awareness through recognition, description, analysis and practical demonstration.
