Intro to Fashion Concepts (1621QCA)

This course assists students in developing a broad conceptual approach to the fundamental principles in fashion design practices. Students are introduced to an array of interdisciplinary studies, ideas and relationships ranging across art and design, architecture, medicine and science that encourage individual translations to fashion design, theory and practice. Students will participate in lectures, studio workshops and independent research activities to increase visual literacy and support conceptual innovation in fashion and object design.
